Delivery

COVID-19: I am currently shipping by First Class Royal Mail, untracked, so that I can buy postage online and drop packages at the delivery office with the minimum of interaction. Shipping costs remain the same as for standard shipping and you may receive your package a day sooner.

Routine shipping: I only ship routinely within the UK at the moment. Your purchase will be despatched as soon as possible after your order is received using the Royal Mail Second Class Signed-For service. This means that your package can be tracked once it is posted.

If you are elsewhere, please contact me about the piece you're interested in so that I can offer you shipping options.

I package all items securely, often double-boxing, using as little plastic as possible. The packaging peanuts I use are made of compostable cellulose which dissolve in water or in a compost bin. Where I do use plastic or expanded polystyrene, it is re-used from supplier deliveries I have received or unwanted packaging donated by friends.

Please contact me if you have any problems with your delivery as soon as possible, so that I can try and help.

In the event of breakage during shipping, I will try and replace the item but please bear in mind that this could take up to three to four weeks if a similar item is not in stock and I have to make it from scratch. In the event of the piece being irreplaceable, I will offer reimbursement or replacement with another item of the same value.

As far as loss in the postal system is concerned, I provide a tracking number for every shipment and can provide proof of postage including the house/flat number and postcode on the package. However, liaising with Royal Mail will be the buyer's responsibility.
